Spotlight Cosmetics launched about a year ago but I've only started using their Superstar Creamy Lips at the onset of summer in the Philippines because my lips are extra dry. I guess I have been so used with using tints and long-lasting liquid lipsticks that using bullet lipsticks just took the back burner for me. Anywhoo, I finally gave them a try and ended up liking them that I have used them a few times a week for the last 3 months. Here is my review for the Spotlight Cosmetics SuperStar Creamy Lips!
Spotlight Cosmetics Lipstick Review + Swatches - Superstar Creamy Lips is Great for Dry Lips!
What is Spotlight Cosmetics Superstar Creamy Lips?
These lipsticks comprise half of the bullet lipsticks released by new Filipino makeup brand Spotlight Cosmetics. There are 6 shades for this collection and 6 shades for the matte collection as well.
These lipsticks are paraben-free, vegan, and cruelty-free because yes, Spotlight Cosmetics is one of the Cruelty-Free makeup brands in the Philippines!

Each bullet lipstick in this collection comes housed in a sleek black and white box. Although the product doesn't look and feel premium, it does not feel nor look cheap either.
Each lipstick is just P295 each or around $6. You can buy them via Shopee App (<---yes, that is a link) if you do not want to go out.
I kinda like the look of the packaging although I am having a problem making the cap stay on. It keeps on not locking/clicking. The shade names are at the bottom of the lippies complete with other important information.
The shades are:
- World Class Diva which is a muted red so its sexy but not too fiery
- Modern Girl which is a dusty rose
- Pop Sensation which is a soft red or dark coral
- Fabulous Femme which is a soft brown
- Breakthrough Artist which is a rosy pink or an MLBB for fair lasses
- Modest Missy which is a mauve (I do not have this shade)

I like that the colors are creamy enough to saturate the back of my palm. I swatched there so you would see how the product behaves over dry skin because I have dry lips. Doing swatches this way also allows you to see them side by side as opposed to lip swatches that do not really show off the real colors although can be nice to look at.
As you can see, the colors are not shiny and not matte. This lipstick has a natural or satin finish so can flatter almost everyone and looks great on camera whether blotted after application or just swiped on.
I normally layer the Spotlight Superstar Creamy Lips with tint and gloss. This product is not marketed as long lasting and also not transfer-proof nor waterproof nor oil-proof. You will have to reapply several times a day just like with any other bullet lipstick.
The one thing I liked the most about this is I do not have to prep my dry lips prior to using this. The formula can soften dry patches so although not perfect, can be food to use for those who also have dry lips like mine. If you want a glossy look like in the photo, you have to use a gloss or topper which can also extend the wear time of this lippie.
Overall, I rate this 4/5
