EB Advance Silky Brow Liner Review Swatches from Ever Bilena
I don't remember blogging here about a brow product because brow products are normally challenging to write about so I just feature them in videos most of the time. Today, I have been very tired and worn out and literally couldn't summon the strength to do much except manage to put on a little bit of Belo SunExpert Whitening Sunscreen, Belo SunExpert Loose Powder, GRWM Cosmetics Milk Tints, and brows courtesy of EB Advance Silky Brow Liner so yeah, time to review these brow liners!
This will be a very short blog review because there is not much to say about brow liners so I will just talk about the most important details. And yes, just in case you are wondering, EB Advance is Cruelty-free and paraben-free, yay!
EB Advance Silky Brow Liner Review Swatches
What is the EB Advance Silky Brow Liner?
This is just one of the around 10-15 different brow products under the Ever Bilena umbrella but I guess what sets this apart is that it is delivered in a traditional form (pencil that you need to sharpen) but the look is patterned after EB Advance's rebranding.
The formula is like the Ever Bilena Germany eye and brow pencil so it is a bit waxy and soft unlike their newer brow pencil products that are harder and more precise. I guess this is because this formula is easier to use and favored by the majority of market shares in the budget beauty community.
Personally, I like the formula because I also use this pencil for precise shading but those who are used to a more western formulation for brow pencil may find this too soft or too creamy.
Each pencil retails for just around 100 pesos or $2 and the brow liner comes in 3 shades, Caramel, Chocolate, and Black.
Each brow pencil is about 6 inches long and comes with 1.2 grams of product. Most retractable brow pencils come with less than a gram so you get more although the pencil looks small.
These are made in Brazil which is surprising for me because I didn't know that Brazil produces budget cosmetics for export and rebranding.
Caramel is a reddish but also neutral-ish sort of brown
Chocolateis a warm brown
Black is plain black
All the shades are water resistant but not waterproof. They stay put but just know that can rub off. These are not marketed as long-wear makeup after all.
What I like: ease of use for beginners and the fact that this is not smudge proof because I like smudging this to shade my nose
What I don't like: I wish this came in a retractable form because it can be discouraging to add this to my kikay kit and realize I don't have a sharpener when needed. So yes, it is a little inconvenient.
Lasting power is 3-5 hours
Not smudge-proof
not sweat proof, only sweat resistant
I give this 4/5 because the formula fits my needs. This may not be liked by a lot of other people.
