What is the Damage Care Perfect Repair Serum by Mise En Scene?
First of all, I would like to introduce what is Mise En Scene. Mise En Scene is a Korean Beauty Brand focusing on hair care products. They recently launched a store in Shopee Philippines and so I thought the perfect time has come for me to share about their products with my readers because I used to buy them from Korea prior to that. Mise En Scene is sold worldwide by the way and is under Amore Pacific. They've become very popular for their hair serums but they also have hair treatments, shampoo, hair color, and hair wax. To date, only Mise En Scene hair serums are available in the Philippines.

The Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Serum is an oil-infused leave-on hair treatment product that promises to repair damaged hair in just 3 days. I think a lot of people already reviewed the hair serum on dry hair but I was able to test its limits in 2019 when I bleached my dark hair. My hair got brittle and frayed and this serum saved it!

How to Use Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Hair Serum?
- Comb the hair and make sure it is not too damp. Dry, slightly damp, or towel dry hair is fine.
- Get a coin-size amount of hair serum and spread on palm.
- Use the palm of your hands to evenly distribute the hair serum focusing on damaged parts of the hair.
- Style your hair as desired.
- Add more Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Hair Serum if needed.
This is not a wig, I bleached the underside of my hair because I wanted to dye it pink. I got progress photos in my Instagram feed and you can witness my hair go from dark brown to orange, yellow, red, pink, and so, on haha!
On your left side is where I applied the serum and on your right side is where I didn't have the hair serum. The left side is visibly less frizzy and looks healthier. The photo above was taken in early 2019 so sorry for the quality.

Mise En Scene Damage Care Perfect Repair Serum Review! Is This The Best Hair Serum for Dry and Colored Hair?
I don't have much to say except this hair serum works as claimed. Not as great as Olaplex because that is a miracle worker and is professional grade but Mise En Scene is definitely one of the best hair serums I've tried made for the off-the-shelf consumer.
Using this helped me minimize damage upon further hair bleaching and more hair coloring and allowed me to enjoy switching hair colors between 2019 and 2020. Just know that your hair will still be damaged if you bleach or dye it and that you will not regain the way it was prior unless you undergo professional hair treatment but if you want a quick fix that's good for your hair in the long run, then Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Hair Serum is a must try!
