Good Virtues Co Helpful and Delightful Conditioner and Happy and Heavenly Shampoo are two Good Virtues Co products that I have been using for years. I can't believe that I totally forgot to review them considering that they are part of my usual shower time repertoire. I don't even remember how many times I repurchased both from my suki BeautyMNL and have also reviewed the Good Virtues Co Hair Serum HERE.
Well, today is the day that I am going to talk about how much I love Good Virtues Co Helpful and Delightful Conditioner and Happy and Heavenly Shampoo. Just a bit worried that I won't do them justice because hair products are so difficult to review. Note that I am using my photos from early 2018 because I don't have time to take new ones so please excuse the quality.
REVIEW Good Virtues Co Helpful and Delightful Conditioner and Happy and Heavenly Shampoo
What is Good Virtues Co? What Makes Their Products Special?
I discovered Good Virtues Co because their products were part of the Christmas Gift given to bloggers at one of Sampleroom's Holiday Parties. As much as I keep trying new skincare, I usually stick to just a few hair care products because my scalp is too sensitive and gets itchy and flaky when I switch brands. I couldn't resist trying these because they smell so good and really happy that they turned out good!
Anyway, Good Virtues Co is a company that creates skincare and hair care products without sacrificing its values. I believe they are based in Malaysia and have a partner business in the Philippines that distributes and sells their products. They got their name from their strong focus on the purity and integrity of the ingredients they use.
ALL their products are free from ALES, parabens, SLES, mineral oil, animal products, and synthetic colourants. No wonder my extra sensitive scalp did not react!
And yes, Good Virtues Co is Cruelty-Free!
What makes their hair care products special is the organic Black Seed Oil or Habbatus Sauda. Black Seed Oil benefits for hair are as follows:
- black seed oil can improve the rate of hair growth (I think this worked for me)
- black seed oil can visibly improve skin and scalp health (yes, calmed my scalp and no itchiness or flaking that I usually get for new products)
- black seed oil can prevent premature greying (not sure about this)
- black seed oil can minimize hair loss (yes!)
The packaging is colour-coded so you can easily distinguish which is which. They have a lot of hair care products btw but not everything from their Malaysian store is available in the Philippines or at least I haven't seen them. The caps can be opened with one hand. Very handy in the shower!
The shampoo is clear and thick, the conditioner is thick but not heavy (the third one is the serum)
Good Virtues Co Helpful and Delightful Conditioner
Good Virtues Co Helpful and Delightful Conditioner has a protective formula that nourishes hair to produce hair that is softer, light, and manageable with a technology that locks in moisture. The first time I've tried this was December so my hair was very dry and true to its claim, it did make my hair feel moisturized but not heavy or oily. The product information says that this contains Maca Root to prevent hair fall and in my experience, that seems to be true.
This is available in 180 ml bottle with flip-top cap and 300 ml bottle with dispenser pump.
This claims to be good for all hair types but as for myself, I have dry and frizzy colour-treated hair. In the website, it says that this is best used daily with Good Virtues Co. Happy & Heavenly Healthy Hair & Scalp Shampoo.

Good Virtues Co Helpful and Delightful Conditioner Review Summary
I like that the packaging is so convenient and the scent is luxurious, sexy, and feminine without being overpowering or too sweet. This is not a heavy conditioner and you won't feel your hair become very slippery but just trust that once you rinse off and dry your hair, you'll see that this conditioner works. This made my hair soft and kinda mahalumigmig between getting or feeling wet. I am not sure how to translate that in English but it feels healthy haha! Like somehow my hair is stronger and not as brittle. I give this 4.5/5.
Good Virtues Co Happy and Heavenly Shampoo
Good Virtues Co Happy and Heavenly Shampoo claims to be a hydrating shampoo that nourishes hair strands so that they are shinier, smoother, and smoother. The brand says that Vitamin B5, Maca Root Extracts, and Organic Black Seed Oil in this hydrating shampoo works together to prevent hair breakage as well as hair fall. I agree to an extent because my hair feels stronger when I am using this.
This shampoo is available in 700 ml huge bottle, 300 ml bottle with dispenser pump, and 180 ml bottle with a flip-top cap.
I really like this hydrating shampoo because it doesn't lather like crazy but gets the job done. Easy to rinse too and makes my hair feel that same mahalumigmig feel with Good Virtues Co. Helpful & Delightful Healthy Hair & Scalp Conditioner. You know how your hair feels after you got a hot oil treatment? Like it feels kind of thicker and moisturized even when it is dry and is suddenly behaving like how you want it to? That's what I mean!

Good Virtues Co Happy and Heavenly Shampoo Review Summary
I give this a 4.5 as well! I like the soft feminine scent and the way it cleanses without feeling too stripped and not slippery either when hair is wet. Rinses fast so you know it doesn't have a lot of artificial surfactants like other shampoos. The hair is more well-behaved with this shampoo too versus when I pair the conditioner with other shampoos. I guess if you like Shiseido Moist (the one in red packaging), you will like this too!
