Pittoresco Skincare Review was the phrase that I was googling for when I found out that aside from their soothing cream, Pittoresco carries a wide array of other skincare products. I've been looking for Korean skincare products for sensitive skin for a while now so I got 4 and below is my review about them all plus a bonus demo and review video too!

Pittoresco is a Korean skincare brand that gained popularity in some asian-centric social media sharing sites. I've been wanting to try them for a while but they've only been available in the Philippines for a few months via the Dr. Hedison Shopee store. It is better to just buy from Shopee if you are from the Philippines since ordering from Korea may take a while plus shipping is a bit expensive. Shipping is cheap and fast via Shopee.

I've heard a lot of good reviews about using Pittoresco products for sensitive skin. They are gentle and do not contain harmful ingredients that might harm the skin or cause negative reactions like inflammation. I'm hoping to try the Pittoresco Cover BB Cushion plus the Pittoresco Tone Up Effect Cream but I decided to go for skincare first to really gauge if they work for sensitive skin. Just a backgrounder, I have mature, sensitive, acne-prone skin that's combination oily and dehydrated. Find out what worked for me and why below!
My parcel arrived in under a week. I think Pittoresco Philippines got a Philippine warehouse. Parcel came from Baguio and was delivered to Quezon City NCR.
Pittoresco Camella Bubble Cleansing Gel Review
Product Description and claims:
- This cleanser is formulated with 1,000ppm of camellia oil that promises to leave skin soft and moisturized with no tight feeling.
- The product produces O2 oxygen bubble which reduces friction on the skin and effectively removes impurities.
- This gel cleanser has pH 4.5-6.5 which is a subacid that indicates a healthy and ideal skin pH
- Contains 4 kinds of nutrient or ingredients meant to hydrate skin and 9 types of calming ingredients for clearer skin.
Main ingredients:
Ceramide NP, water soluble collagen, aloe vera, sodium hyaluronate, centella asiatica, tea tree, heartleaf hottuynia, purslane, juniperus, peony root, cnidium officinale, licorice, cinnamomum.
How to use:
- Pump an appropriate amount and spread evenly on dry skin.
- Gently massage unto the face to remove impurities and then wash off with warm water.
For demo I have a small amount of product on the back of my hand. The texture is like shampoo so it's more runny than thick.
THOUGHTS:
After spreading it on my dry skin, it started bubbling. I rinsed it after and was able to get a cleansed feel without the squeaky feeling. I find that if I am wearing makeup, I need to use it twice to get everything off but I also wear long-wearing makeup so your experience may differ.
Pittoresco Galactomyces Skin Essence Pad Review
Product Description and claims:
- This is a product of Korea that is manufactured in Korea (100% Authentic)
- A new conceptional essence pad containing galactomyces essence which helps to exfoliate the skin gently.
- Helps to absorb enriched nutrients of galactomyces essence to keep the skin bright and hydrated.
Main ingredients:
Galactomyces fermentation filtered water.
How to use:
- Just wipe the pad on your skin by using each pad after cleansing.
THOUGHTS:
The Pittoresco Galactomyces Skin Essence Pad comes with a smooth and rough side to suit your skin. I use the smooth side on my face and the rough side on my neck. Works great as a toner or a hydrating pad if you already have oily skin.
Pittoresco Optimal Brightening Mask Pack Review (10 pcs)
Product Description and claims:
- This is a Micro Fiber Silk Sheet with 28ml of the essence for each mask.
- Promises to have Brightening, Hydrating, Whitening, Tightening, and Soothing effects.
- Contains Adenosine and Niacinamide which have a brightening function.
- Contains Hyaluronic Acid and Hydrolyzed Collagen which are effective ingredients in moisturizing and hydrating the skin.
- Contains natural extracts such as Green Tea Extract, Purslane Extract, and Allantoin which help to soothe and calm the skin.
- The mask is made from an Ultra fitting Micro Fiber Silk Sheet made to fit on your skin perfectly. The masks allow nutrients to penetrate the skin better.
- Pittoresco Optimal Brightening Mask has filtered impurities out more than 10 times to reduce skin sensitivity according to tests.
- With this mask, you can experience intensive skincare in just 15 minutes.
Main ingredients:
Niacinamide, Adenosine, Purslane Extract, Green Tea Extract, Allantoin, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen.
How to use:
- Apply toner after cleansing your face.
- Place Pittoresco Optimal Brightening Mask on your face and adjust the placement as necessary.
- Leave the mask on for 15 minutes to allow your skin to absorb the essence. Do not leave longer than 30 minutes.
- Use the remaining essence in the packet and apply it to other body parts (neck, hands, legs, feet).
- Remove the mask and then gently pat the remaining essence on your face to absorb the remaining essence.
THOUGHTS:
The Pittoresco Optimal Brightening Mask Pack is very effective for hydrating and brightening. I love the scent and how it makes my skin feel like baby skin after use. The effect lasts for 2-3 days so I recommend to use this only 2-3 times a week or as needed.
Pittoresco Intensive Azulene Soothing Cream Review (70 ml)
Product Description and claims:
- Quick absorption that promises hydrating and soothing moisturizing effects.
- Lightweight, has a soft texture, and has a natural blue color that is derived from Guaiazulene ingredient.
- Contains antioxidants to solve problem skin, hydrate skin, promote clearer skin, prevent dryness, and make skin firmer.
Main ingredients:
Guaiazulene, centella asiatica, lavender, cornflower, hyacinth, clary sage, camomile, borage, 5 kinds of hyaluronic acid, B-glucan.
How to use:
- Apply day and night before makeup and bedtime.
THOUGHTS:
The Pittoresco Intensive Azulene Soothing Cream is true to its name. It truly is calming and relaxing. I find that it is very soothing whenever my skin is inflamed. Works for sunburn too. I think this is a great Pittoresco product for sensitive skin.

Steps I did to use these Pittoresco products for my sensitive skin:
- On the face with makeup, put on the proper amount of Camella Bubble Cleansing Gel and massage into the face in a circular motion. If the gel did not bubble well, simply add a bit of water. Continue massaging until the makeup is dissolved.
- Rinse with water and repeat step 1. Once is enough for light makeup but you may need to wash twice for heavy makeup or long-wearing makeup.
- Clean your face using Galactomyces Skin Essence Pad.
- Apply the Optimal Brightening Mask Pack on your face. Remove after 15-25 minutes.
- Put some Intensive Azulene Soothing Cream on your face and then gently rub it until fully absorbed.
