Ellana Satin Stain Shine Liquid Lip and Cheek Tint wasn't something that I was expecting to like. I'm someone who prefers watery tints over creamy ones and I thought that a creamy lip and cheek stain would look less vibrant on the skin like how Glossier Cloud Paint performs which I am not a fan of but boy, was I wrong!

Ellana Minerals says that the Ellana Satin Stain Shine Liquid Lip and Cheek Stain is their answer to what's the secret for soft, supple lips. The formula is a water-based gloss that's versatile enough to be used not just on the lips but for the cheeks as well. This stain gives a satin finish with a dose of extra hydration. Perhaps it's the combination of olive oil and mung bean, but whatever it is that they added to this, they really work!
Retail price is P699 or around $14 but this usually goes for sale for around P500 or $10.

This stain dries to a satin or dewy finish. It is waterproof but not transfer-proof which is fine by me because it is like wearing liquid tinted lip balm. The lasting power is just 3-5 hours or until you eat. Reapplication is a breeze because it comes in a tube with an applicator and it is so small so you can fit it in your pocket. I love the slight plumping effect. The only downside for me is it doesn't fully dry but then again, this is a hydrating satin stain so I cannot fault the product for performing the way it is supposed to, right?
This gets a 4.5/5 for me!
