I have a ton of reviews featuring EB Advance products but I can't help but also create a dedicated post for the EB Advancce Lip Define Matte Matic lipstick as well. I loved the EB Advance Matic Lipstick released in 2016 and after 2 years, they created and released a much better version!
EB Advance Lip Define Matte Matic Lipstick Review and Swatches
The EB Advance Lip Define Matte Matic Lipstick are 6 nude shades of demi-matte crayon-type lipsticks that promises to have a perfect shade of nude lipstick for every Filipina.
Each one retails for about P200 for 2.5 grams of product and can be bought wherever Ever Bilena and EB Advance products are sold.
When I first saw these EB Advance lipsticks at Instagram, I was a bit worried thinking that they would just be boxed (because I bought some boxed lippies from another brand before and when I got home they were already swatched) but relieved that they come in this sealed see-through packaging.
The packaging is in almost the exact shade of the lip product inside so no need to try to see the shade names when you're rummaging in your purse. The cap fits tightly too and the lipstick bullet twists up (no need for sharpeners).
I got all 6 shades so I can make proper swatches.

Of course I swatched them all (and did wear test too for several weeks!)
The 6 shades of the EB Advance Lip Define Matte Matic Lipstick are:
- Stark Mauve
- Raw Burgundy
- Neutral Mocha
- Exposed Nude
- Dusky Rose
- Buff Brown
- Buff Brown is a light nude lipstick that leans on the warm side (pang-pinay na morena)
- Dusky Rose is an old rose with a hint of singe, giving it an unexpected warmth and yet it has a purplish undertone
- Exposed Nude is a peachy light nude (pang-tisay)
- Neutral Mocha is a universal nude and is my personal favorite as a nude lippie. Can be worn both day and night and with almost any makeup look.
- Raw Burgundy is more like terracotta for me I am wondering why it is called raw burgundy because it is too warm to be described as such. Anyway this shade will look amazing on tanned skin.
- Stark Mauve isn't mauve for me as well but more like a burnt coral. It is universally flattering too.
If you're going to buy just 2 shades from the collection, I suggest you buy Stark mauve and Neutral Mocha.
Ever Bilena Advance Lip Define Matte Matic Lipstick Review Summary
- lasting power: 3 to 5 hours or until when you eat, reapplies with no problem, most shades do not leave a noticeable stain so I can't say they're long lasting. More like a hybrid lipstick and lip cream
- finish: soft matte with a bit of sheen, almost creamy matte. Let's call it satin para walang gulo haha!
- versatility: 6 shades are available that can be worn from day to night. You just pick which one would look best for your skin tone
- price: 185-195 pesos
- availability: sold anywhere Ever Bilena products are sold
- verdict: 4.5/5 but only because I prefer longer-lasting lipsticks when I was testing this. If these leaves a bit of stain I'd give a solid 5/5
What I like
no weird or very strong scent only a hint of flowers and coconuts which goes away after a few minutes, non-drying, and has beautiful colors that suit Filipina skin tone. Packaging gets a perfect score for me because it makes the product so convenient. The color is same shade as the packaging itself. Oh, #crueltyfree and #parabenfree too!
What I don't like:
I wish this came with a longer lasting formula and maybe with some cool-toned shades thrown in. The collection has warm shades which are perfect for the majority of Filipinas but I really wish there were other shades because I like the formula.
