What is the Ever Bilena Advance Highlighter?

This highlighter from Ever Bilena's sister company EB Advance is a powder baked highlighter product encased in the signature white packaging EB Advance is known for.

The formula is a pressed powder and the pigment is almost similar to those used in foiled makeup products (both highlighter and eyeshadow).

The first photo in this blog post is the actual product and the photo right above this paragraph is the prototype unveiled at a blogging event. I think that the formula was improved a bit (the prototype was more dry) and this explains why they took half a year more to release the product.

Price: Introductory price of P199 and regular price is P299 for 5 grams of product.

Where to Buy: In all leading department stores and stores where Ever Bilena products are sold starting the 3rd week of January 2018. It is currently available in Lazada right now!

You might have a bit of an issue spotting these Ever Bilena highlighters in stores because these Glow Out Highlighters come in a box sporting the same look as other EB Advance products.

The box features the batch number, when the product was manufactured, for how long is it good, the stock number, the distribution, ingredients, and product info.

Formula is paraben free! Hooray for #parabenfreecosmetics from local brands!

Product info: Bring out the glow with the Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighter. This multi-tasking shimmering powder can be used on the inner corner of the eyes for that well-rested look, or on the cheeks for a radiant, luminous face. Apply lightly for a soft glow or layer on for that intense shine.

Inside the box, the product is further protected by a clear sturdy plastic. The packaging and the product itself reminds me so much of Jcat Highlighters but those cost 3X more so hey, just putting that bit of info out there :P

I'm glad that they did not include a mirror or an applicator because I don't use those when included in the packaging anyway. Love the clear plastic cap/cover!

You won't need to keep the box to keep tabs on expiration and such. Everything is printed under the compact!

EB Advance Glow Out Highlighter Swatches

The Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighters come in two shades described below:

Strobe is a pale white gold or a champagne with a golden sheen. I think this one would fit more people no matter what the skintone. The hue would be great for inner eye corner and lip highlighting too!
Candlelight is an outright gold shade. Very much like the Fenty Trophy Wife Highlighter. I think this will look amazing on tanned skin or those who have a deep skintone. Might also work as a body shimmer!

Texture is a dry powder, not creamy or buttery like shimmer eyeshadows are. Remember that this is a baked highlighter product, not a pressed highlighter that is common in stores. There might be some fall out if placed on top of a very dry surface but over foundation the formula adheres well. Not glittery too so yey!

Today is literally the first day that I'm using these Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighters. They lasted on my face for 5-6 hours and then after that I wasn't sure if I was seeing highlighter or my oils haha!
