The Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Cream Conditioner duo are Colgate-Palmolive's response to those who are looking for a creamy and nourishing shampoo and conditioner from their brand. I've long been a fan of the variant for color-treated hair and the one one for normal hair but because of my wacky hormones (PCOS + hypothyroidism), it seems like very few of my old favorites work for me now.

To say that my hair is damaged and lifeless is an understatement. It is limp, oily on the roots, and keeps getting tangled no matter what I do or how many pricey products I use because the ends are coarse and dry. Crazy, right? I have to use treatment creams as my conditioner just to get my hair to cooperate and even then, there are some days that it simply won't.
Enter Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Cream Conditioner.
Palmolive products have a 20+ years history with me. I've been using their soap and green shampoo since I was in grade school and have had a good experience with it but it is made for people with normal hair...not my dry and coarse mane.

But, I did try this shampoo and conditioner duo a year ago when it was first launched via Sampleroom and liked how it tamed my hair back then (just note, my hair damage is considerably worse these days) but I figured, what do I have to lose?
And so I re-tried Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Cream Conditioner for a week just to see if it can give me a bit of the magic I've experienced before.

Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo promises to add essential hydration to the hair to achieve long lasting softness. They say that the formula infuses the hair with intensive moisture with the help of milk protein extracts and coco cream.

The shampoo is quite thick/viscous and has a pearlized sheen. There is nothing to be worried about regarding the sheen because it has no glitters or any shimmer that remains on the hair after rinsing. I love the feminine sweet-floral scent. I'm not a fan of strong scents and I like how this shampoo's scent isn't too much but can last for 36-48 hours.

This hydrating conditioner from Palmolive Naturals is super thick yet rinses out easily. I like how it does not weight down my hair and managed to make my ends look a bit more alive. No greasy, dreadlocks-look with this intensive moisture hair conditioner from Palmolive!

The photo above was taken after 3 uses of the Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Cream Conditioner duo. While my hair is by no means hair commercial-ready, it is significantly more well-behaved and behaves like how hair should!
I noticed that by using Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Cream Conditioner, my hair is responding better to styling products. I have not had a hair-flipping moment yet but I'm pretty sure that I can pull that off if ever I need to haha!
Is my hair healthier, more hydrated, and smoother after using Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Cream Conditioner?
Definitely yes!
Considering how my hair was before, both products exceeded my expectations.
