You can say that I'm a full coverage foundation girl and love finding foundations that offers both coverage and quality. That was why when I was invited to the Makeup World PH Launch and saw that they have a promising foundation in a shade that I can take for a test run, I made sure to take home one!

The carton packaging it came with looks like the ones you find on mid-range products. I like that the important details are printed on both the carton and the foundation tube itself.

The non-shiny black parts of the packaging can really highlight your fingerprints haha!

Because the second ingredient is Titanium Dioxide, this might leave a white cast on morena ladies. Fair-skinned folks can get away with it. It isn't severe.

I really wished that the nozzle is like the one for concealers (pointy nozzle). That way, it would be less messy to use the product because it can get all over the cap. Nevertheless, good packaging because a tube will allow you to really use up everything!

The foundation is really thick. The drop above remained looking like that despite taking pics and testing out on a very warm day with no a/c.

Ivory has a slight pinkish undertone
Nude is a true yellow undertone, great for morenas
Natural has a reddish brown undertone, suitable for mullatas

Makeup World Cover Up Foundation Review Summary

Consistency: Quite thick and on the silicone-y side

Texture: really smooth

Blendability: Can leave streaks with a brush, blends like a dream with a damp beauty sponge

Scent: It smells pleasant. Sorta fresh.

Look: Just like your real skin but a lot better! It is not flat matte. Looks like real skin!

How it feels: Feels like you're not wearing anything at all, or not heavy. That's one layer though

Sensitive skin: No bad reaction. Wore this for 3 days so far.

White cast?: No white cast for me.

Coverage: Medium to full. Definitely buildable to full

Packaging: Love it because you can squeeze out all the contents and is hygienic. A pointy nozzle would have been perfect though

Lasting power: Lasts a decent number of hours for me. The semi-matte finish lasts 3 hours and then it looks good for up to 6 hours. That is good considering drugstore products typically last only half or 2/3 of that time for me

Oily-skin approved?: YES!
