NEW Fashion 21 TWIST EYE PENCIL Review with Swatches per Set and GIVEAWAY!

Hello everyone! I know that some of you are waiting for another blog giveaway (we have an ongoing one at YOUTUBE too!) and I hear you! Before we go on to that, though, let's first talk about the new Fashion 21 Twist Eye Pencil sets below!

NEW Fashion 21 TWIST EYE PENCIL SETS

Yep! Your eyes are not kidding you! The Fashion 21 Twist Eye Pencils now come in more affordable 3-pencil sets!

What's great with this is that you won't have to guess anymore which Fashion 21 Twist Eye Pencils to use together to create a certain look. The F21 eye pencil sets are also about 50 pesos cheaper as compared to when you're buying the pencils separately because each set retails for only P250 pesos!

I'll go on be showing you each set later, but for now, let's swatch and review!

So, to date, Fashion 21 has 11 shades of their Twist Eye Pencils but I only got 9. The missing shades are MOSS (a moss green matte) and AQUA (an aqua blue shimmer pencil).

The Twist Eye Pencils come in 2 formulas, shimmery and matte.

The matte shades are: Smoke, Nimbus, and Azure.
The shimmery shades are: Sable, Lagoon, Gold, Grass, Lilac, and Pearl

I wish they also have a matte white or a matte cream color for lining the lower waterline but the Pearl shade works too!

All the swatches of the F21 Twist Eye Pencils above were done on my forearm under natural early morning light.

PEARL: An opalescent white pencil that glides smoothly.
LILAC: A pink with a blue undertone shimmer, Glides really well.
GRASS: A light green shimmer with hints of gold. Also smooth
GOLD: A brassy old gold metallic shimmer. This shade is very smooth.
LAGOON: A light shimmery blue reminiscent of the sky reflected in still water. Quite creamy in consistency.
SABLE: A true deep silver or a metallic soft gray. This is the softest of the pencils.
AZURE: A dark matte blue, almost like the deep ocean. Not as even as the shimmery ones.
NIMBUS: A true matte navy blue. It is a tiny bit oily compared to the other pencils so may need a few swipes to get the true color.
SMOKE: A deep deep deep matte gray or black (looks black to me). This one is my favorite! I even used it in one of my videos!

Now that we're done with the swatches, let's head on to the review!

TEXTURE: The pencils are quite smooth with some shades being a little too smooth such as Azure and Sable. They do not tug when you apply them on your eyelids as an eyeshadow primer or your lash line as an eyeliner.

CONSISTENCY: Some colors have a slightly oily feel to them but then it goes away after the pencil sets. I would say that the F21 Twist Eye Pencils are a hybrid between a pencil gel liner and a cream shadow (like NYX's cream shadow pencils at only 1/3 the price)!

SENSITIVE EYES: They're A-okay! I got sensitive eyes and they didn't cause any problem at all. Yay!

Some Important Things To Note:

The pencils will need a few minutes to set or dry after application if you'll be using them as eyeliner.

You will have to put on eyeshadow within 5 to 10 minutes if you are using the F21 Twist Eye Pencils as an eyeshadow primer...like what I did in the 500 Pesos Makeup Video on Youtube below:

How about longevity?

When used as an eyeliner, the F21 Twist Eye Pencils can last between 3-8 hours on my oily lid. The lighter colors tend to fade faster (maybe because they're light, so I can't see them as vibrant as the dark colors) and the darker ones may need to be removed with a makeup remover because they tend to leave a stain as seen below.

See? It stays on!

I had to go over it a few more times with the makeup remover cloth just to get it off.

The F21 Twist Eye Pencil Set in Colorful Eyes is for the fun-loving girl. The colors included are Lagoon, Grass, and Pearl which gives off a string music festival vibe.

The F21 Twist Eye Pencil Set in Dashing Eyes is for the Kardashian eyes lover! You can create sultry and sexy looks with the use of the shades Pearl. Smoke, and Sable in the set.
