I know this is no big deal for most. It isn't like we'll be crowned as deities of beauty reviews. I'm just grateful to be recognized for my hard work as a new beauty blogger who strives to put up only real and honest reviews.
Drama Mode On...
The temptation is real guys...once I've hit more than 750 followers on Instagram and above 3k at YouTube, the 'indecent' review proposals swarmed in.
By 'indecent', I mean companies that would offer to send you their products provided that you only post positive reviews and/or also say that you bought their product and they weren't sent as PR. I really don't get the need to do that because some of those brands are actually brands that have products which I've been wanting to try. Oh well, I guess the reviews I've read about them are mostly fakes...
Which brings us to the reason I love being a part of SampleRoom.
You see guys, Sampleroom.ph is a website that provides brands and companies a platform to allow consumers to test out their products and post their own HONEST and unfiltered opinions. Everyone can sign-up at their website and avail of free samples. I have a blog post about how the free sampling works which you can read here.
SampleRoom operates on the TRY BEFORE YOU BUY principle. Basically giving consumers like you and me the additional privilege of testing out products (or reading real reviews if no samples are available) before committing to purchasing full size items. Call it try-vertising if you want but I call it smart consumerism :)

What does it mean to be one of the SampleRoom Beauty Insiders?
Being one of the SampleRoom Beauty Insiders simply means that I will have first chance access to some of their newly-available products for sampling. Take note that I will not get paid for my reviews nor have any other special privilege. If I'd want to have some samples that were not a part of their Beauty Insider program, I will still have to get them myself just like most people do.
Frankly first dibs on some samples sounds GREAT for me, so yeyy!
What can you expect from me after all this? Well, it is part of being a sampleroom blogger to write about what products I've been given the chance to try out... so from now on, you can expect me to STILL do video reviews AND also post a blog.
My first feature will be about SkinWhite products. I'm still drafting the blog as of now because I wanted to get nice photos and it's been raining like there's no tomorrow the past few days.
