I know this is only my first post about Makeup Revolution products but I legit freakin LURRVVVV the brand! Not only do they make awesome dupes for really highend makeups, they make outstanding new products as well!
My favorite from them is their line of blush palettes and their highlighters. Girl, if you're all about that Jeffree Starr and Jaclyn Hill level of glow, you need to checkout Makeup Revolution's highlighters!
Okay, let's get back to their blush palettes. They've recently launched the new Makeup Revolution blush and highlight palette in Blush Goddess and oh my blush goodness, it is so drool-worthy!
I got dirty makeup hands :P |
The palette contains 4 highlighters and 4 blushes that are oh-so-very-cute and highly pigmented.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the dramatic change in packaging for this palette (and it's twin sister, the Blush Queen palette)? The usual packaging for Makeup Revolution's face palettes are just a sleek black case but this time, they opted to have a huge window in front of the palette so you can see what's inside. I super love this because I have quite a few of their products and it can take a while to find the palette I want because they used to all look the same. Great job, Makeup Revolution!
NOTE:
All photos were taken in natural morning light and are not altered except to watermark them. For reference, I am NC15. Swatches are 1 swipe swatches without a primer.
The packaging really retains finger prints so I'm glad it is not all black like other Makeup Revolution palettes. |
The obvious sacrifice is that the Blush Goddess and the Blush Queen palettes do not come with mirrors though :(
The colors are bright but not too bright. Perfect! |
But that is totally fine with me as the colors, pigmentation, performance level, and amount of product for each palette is still a steal for the price!

Here are the swatches of the four highlighters in the Makeup Revolution Blush Goddess palette:
All are powder highlighters and each pan contains 1.625 grams of product (from top to bottom above)
- A light neutral beige powder that leaves a gentle sheen when pressed or brushed on the skin. Would be great for a no-makeup-makeup highlight for tan and medium-complexion ladies.
- A NOT subtle iridiscent pink highlighter that would look bomb on fair skintone. No glitters, yey!
- My fave! This one is a bit similar to Golden lights although this is a smidge more golden than that. No glitters as well!
- A soft almost matte-satin beigey-peach color that gives off a pretty sheen. This one will be great to mute some blushes that are too bright while still managing to impart a healthy glow.

Here are the swatches of the four blushes in the Makeup Revolution Blush Goddess palette:
All are matte blushes and each pan contains 1.625 grams of product (described from top to bottom in photo above)
- A coral-peach fusion that looks like it can be used as crease color as well or for a no-makeup-makeup-look.
- A nude warm pink shade that looks like a youthful summery pop of color.
- A cool toned pink for girly summer and spring days.
- A neutral rosy color that would look great on almost any skintone (it layers beautifully!
