I've been eyeing this BB Cream from the Belo Intensive Whitening line ever since I've seen the Belo group post pictures of this at their instagram account. You see, finding brands or products that really work for my evil skin isn't always an easy thing but I happen to know for a fact that other Belo products in this specific line worked wonders for me so yup, I got very excited.
You won't believe how I stalk my local beauty counter just to get my hands on this BB Cream haha! Anyway, I happened to chance upon it while shopping at Zalora one day and yep, my grabby hands couldn't contain themselves and 48 hours later, I got one delivered at my place, yey!

This isn't sponsored nor a 'gifted' product review. I haven't reached that level of popularity yet as a beginning blogger, okay? I'm saying this because I tend to rave about products I really like so people sometimes think that my opinion has been bought (as if there's enough moolah in the world!).
Anyway, as I was saying, the Belo Intensive Whitening Bar (plus the new exfoliating version) really worked for me so I was more than excited to try this BB Cream. It went really smooth and I was of course very happy but the skeptic in me says it could be because that particular day was a nice skin day so I embarked on a journey (naks!) to really road test this baby.
I have to admit that I've had misgivings about trying this Belo BB Cream. Why? Well, right in front of it there's a glaring write up saying that its for medium to deep skin. Surely this is a mistake, right? I've tried looking for other shades but found none but I bit the bullet and still went ahead with my Zalora purchase. That's partly why I was so skeptical when I first tried it and it worked! Well, to be fair, it isn't dark at all so I was weirded out about why it is sporting 'medium to deep' on its packaging. It is only a shade or two darker than my very pale skin tone, so yes, I did expect it to blend well on my skin but I was curious about how it will work on real filipina skin (not my chinese-blend one haha!). I had my friend try this and it worked for her NC25-30 skin. Could this really be possible? I knew I should have taken photos but in my defense, I didn't know it then that I'll be writing a review.

I really appreciate that the ingredients plus important info are printed at the product's tube itself.
Loving the nozzle! No more spills and getting bacteria into the tube accidentally (you know what I mean!)
It really looks super light so here I am again getting bothered that the shade is called Medium to Dark :P
Blends really well. But you'll appreciate the video more because it shows me using the BB Cream as my makeup for the day.

I shared my first findings at instagram and had people request for a review so here I am writing this after filming a video. But before you head out to watching the full day try on video of this Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream, let's talk about the product a bit first:
- Consistency: like a watery lotion
- Texture: like watery lotion, nearly emulsion-like feel
- Spreadability: surprisingly, this spreads like primer! So easy and smooth!
- Blendability: takes well unto the skin and is easily absorbed. I didn't notice any mask-like feel or look to it.
- Scent: Fruity, citrusy, sweet...but it goes away within 5 minutes so no biggie :)
- Color: Neutral to yellow undertone (perfect for filipinas!)
- Look: Just like your real skin but a lot better! You can really get away with just putting this on and not doing the rest of your space...as though you simply woke up with great skin! It dries matte but not flat matte so it looks totally real. Great for no makeup-makeup days!
- How it feels: Feels like you're not wearing anything at all.
- Sensitive skin: No reaction at all, no zits, no break-outs, no redness! (tested over a 5-day period, wearing the Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream 8-14 hours a day)
- White cast?: No whitecast at all, which is surprising because it has SPF50.
- Coverage: Medium, but can be sheered out with a damp sponge or if you mix it with your moisturizer. What's surprising is how you can transform it to full coverage by layering. Bonus part, no caking too!
- Lasting power: Can last up to 4 hours looking perfectly alright without any touch-ups on oily skin. You can stretch that out to a full day by simply blotting oil with an oil-control film. Watch my video to see how it wears for a full 10-hours active day!
- Oily-skin approved?: YES!!!
